Fuel Logo

Here is a very nice 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser with some 20″ Fuel Rampage rims with the Gunmetal Finish. This project turned out great and looks fantastic! Using the new Fuel Offroad Rampage wheels, they really give that aggressive off-road look to the FJ Cruiser.

Here is the setup:

Lift: 3” Lift
Wheel Specs:
20×12 Fuel Offroad Rampage with a -44 offset with a 6×5.5 bolt pattern
Tire Size: Super Swamper Tires 35×14.50R-20LT

If you have ANY questions about this setup or want to  know more information about a setup you want to run and have fitment questions: call us! 800-232-0734 and let our wheel and tire specialists help you out.

    • Brandon,

The tires in this picture are: Super Swamper Tires 35×14.50R-20LT. This size tire is really hard to come by right now (as of 2/6/15) but we can get you into something similar just a little different size. Give Dave a call at 800-232-0734. I told him what you’re asking and he will be able to help you out on understanding the tire sizes and what is available for national availability to work with you on it.

      Thanks!

  1. Did you guys do a body mount cut cut to eliminate rub when turning?
I am looking to replace 18 x 9 (with 33s) with something more aggressive. I have a 3″ lift and a body mount cut and .5″ wheel spacers to eliminate rub. Let me know if you think my set up will work with your rim/tire set up.
    Your FJ looks great!

    • If you’re using spacers, the offset of the wheels you’re using is incorrect for the vehicle. I really wouldn’t recommend doing that. Without having your vehicle here it’s hard to say what you will need. My best opinion I can give you is to take your vehicle to a reputable local custom body shop and get their recommendation. I would hate to give wrong information without seeing your vehicle.
      Thanks!

  2. I’m guessing that the stock tire mount can’t fit those wheels? I’m looking to get an identical setup for my FJ

  3. I just ordered 20×9 inch rims and was looking to do something similar with the wheels, I have a 3 inch BDS lift, anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

  4. FJ Cruisers should not be fitted with tires larger than 35×12.50 and should be re-geared to handle the 35” tires

  5. first of all wow nice job! I just bought my 2007 fj cruiser base (NOT the 4 wheel drive model) and was wondering if I could accommodate 33″ mud terrain tires on 18″ rims. I will be using a Revtek 3 Inch Lift Suspension System 431. It seems that this is the only option I have, since other lift kits are not compatible with rear wheel drive base models. So in other words, I’m stock with this lift kit (or so I believe). Any info will be highly appreciated, thanks.

    • That will work no problem. Feel free to give us a call anytime to help further assist you on any fitment questions! 800-232-0734. Mon-Fri 8:30am-6pm and Sat. 9am-4pm.

  6. We have a stock 2014 FJ. We would like to put some 20×9 wheels with the biggest tires we can. Having a little trouble. Keeps rubbing on stuff. The tire place I’m going to has kinda given up. We’re in Little Rock but could take a drive or do you have anybody in mind here? Guy I’m taking it to says a 3″ lift won’t help. Looks like it might. We’ve tried 1/4″ and 1″ spacers both rub. Any ideas?
    Thanks

    • Ward,

You’re asking a loaded question. We are going to need to know what offset your wheels are and tire size. Also where exactly are they rubbing? We can try to assist but I need every detail to try help you out.

      Thanks!

  7. Do you guys know if a 20×10 -24mm with a 33×12.5r20 would fit without trimming the body with a 3 inch lift on the front and a 2 inch lift on the rear? Thanks!

  8. Wow that was odd. I just wrote an extremely long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t show up. Grrrr well I’m not writing all that over again. Anyway, just wanted to say superb blog!

  9. Do y’all think I could squeeze 20 x 12 or maybe 22 x 12 under a 3 inch lift on my fj without chopping? 33’s of course

  10. Hey… so I have a 3in lift and 20×10 -24mm offset wheels with 305/55r20 tires all sittin in my garage, and I have called around and all the local shops are telling me the wheels and tires are not going to fit with the 3in lift. Am I just missing something or did you guys do something different to that fj to fit 35/14.5r20s?

    • Logan,
That set up will be fine. In fact we just did another FJ Cruiser with the set up you have in your garage (only difference is -18 offset) and it worked perfect with a 3″ lift. If it would be a positive offset, then it would not work but a -24 will be fine.
      Thanks!

  11. I have 2014 fj going be putting a 6″ lift on it. My 2 question are #1 can I run 20×12 wheels #2 I know I can run 35in tires what about 37 in ? Thanks Jason

  12. What do you think is the most offset I could do on a fj with 20×12 and 35s on a 3 inch lift, I currently have 35s on it with 18×12 but I want more offset and bigger wheel. I’m okay with a little rub at full lock
